Huge Well Done to Andi Fairhurst and Martyn King

Twinkle House is so very proud to announce that Andi Fairhurst and Martyn King completed their 18 day Penine walk and have raised over £1,000 to date.

Starting on 30th June 2013, Martyn King and Andi Fairhurst, walked the The Pennine Way.   The 260 mile walk started in Edale, Derbyshire and finished just over the Scottish border at Kirk Yetholm.  Their 18 day trek saw them walking an average of 15 miles per day and camping every night.

We were very saddened to hear about Andi’s hospital scare 😮 but glad that everything was alright 🙂

Very well done to both Andi and Martyn, we will give another update and PR when they come in and visit us at Twinkle House.  Best Wishes from us all at Twinkle House 🙂

The funds raised from the walk will go towards Twinkle House’s new SPARKLE APPEAL being launched soon.  The Appeal is to raise funds to help Twinkle House move to bigger local premises where they will be able to support many more children and young people with Disabilities.
