Sleep Support. Helping Families To Help Themselves through our Sleep Clinic.
We are very proud of our specialist sleep services and we can now offer support to adults as well as children and young people struggling with sleep issues.
Both our adult and children’s services are commissioned by West Lancashire Clinical Commissioning Group and therefore all referrals have to be registered with a West Lancashire GP.
Twinkle House can offer you support through our Sleep Clinic. GP and Health/Social Care referrals welcome.

The workshop is arranged over the course of four weeks. During weeks 1, 2 and 3 a one-hour workshop is held. On week 4 an individual 1:1 session takes place with the Sleep Therapist to discuss workshop feedback how the client is implementing the changes/insights they have learnt during the course of the workshop.
All workshops will include a maximum of 6 adults. The Sleep Therapist will guide each session and will use shared experience and peer support from the candidates.
How do I get referred?
To be referred to this service, please contact Minds Matter via 01695 684177 / mindsmatter.west@lscft.nhs.uk and ask to be referred to the Adult Sleep Service. Once the referral has been completed it will be passed to our service for triage and contact will be made.
Children/Young Person Service (Age 2-19 years)
2-19 Service
Twinkle House Sleep Therapist and Sleep Practitioner offer practical support and advice for parents/carers of children/young people aged 2 -19 years’ old who are experiencing disturbances with sleep and/or bedtime routine.
This service is available to all children aged 2-19 years registered with a GP in West Lancashire who are displaying significant sleep issues.
All sessions are held by a fully trained Sleep Practitioner and can be held in house in our fully immersive room or on line
We offer 1-1 individualised sleep support plans and work flexibly with families to identify the child/young person’s needs. We can provide up to 8 sessions and will always provide emotional support if required.
Sensory awareness support is provided and suggestions for practical ideas/environment to use at home will be given if required.
Teenage Workshops are also available for the young person and their parent/carer. These workshops are always followed up to ensure impactful learning.
How do I get referred? The Children’s sleep service currently only accepts referrals from:

CAHMS team
Once we receive this referral it will go through our triage process and you will then be contacted.
